    Teachers’ Questions

    Why do you ask for proof?

    Because a teacher key unlocks the full app for free, so we make sure it reaches real teachers. We review every application ourselves.

    Is my picture safe?

    Yes. Only the Kitabcom team sees it, it is shown to no one else, and it is deleted from our servers as soon as your application is reviewed (approved or declined). You can cover your ID number and photo before uploading: we only need your name and the issuing body.

    What’s the difference between the key and the code?

    The key is yours alone and unlocks the full app on two phones. The code is for parents: it gives them a discount when they subscribe, and you earn from their subscription.

    What does “net value of a payment” mean?

    The amount we receive from Google Play after its 15% fee. For example, from a 10-dinar subscription we receive about 8.50 dinars, so your share is about 1.70 dinars for every month they renew.

    How do I get paid?

    Once a month, by CliQ, an e-wallet (Zain Cash, Orange Money) or international transfer. We pay 45 days after each payment, once Google pays us, with a minimum payout of 10 dinars.

    I changed my phone. What should I do?

    Reply to the WhatsApp message your key came in, and we’ll free up the old phone so the key works on the new one.

    Can a key or code be cancelled?

    Yes, if the key is given to someone else, or the code is misused, for example with fake accounts.
